Cork Wedge Heeled Sandals

Designer Salvatore Ferragamo popularized the cork wedge in the 1930s. The scarcity of raw materials in Italy during the Facist Regime from1922-1943 inspired him to experiment with cork. These Tintoretto sandals were made in Florence, Italy.
