The Handweavers Guild displays and demonstrates fiber arts at several local public events, such as county fairs, festivals and antique shows. The Guild was our guest visitor in June, and we’re pleased to announce their return to the Farm, July 15. Join us, bring a picnic, visit with members of the Handweavers Guild, tour the Hanley House and gardens, and take a self-guided tour of the farm. And be sure to tour “The Bard’s Garden” with Rhonda Nowak. This unique tour of Shakespeare’s Garden, aka The Bard’s Garden, includes interesting tidbits about the foods Shakespeare mentioned in his plays, AND you’ll find out how to make the same tasty treats at home! Farm Hours: 12pm-4pm, House Tours: 1pm-3pm. Admission is free! Hanley House tours: $5/adults; $3/SOHS Members and Children, 12 years and younger. All other activities: FREE! The farm is open every Sunday, to September 2.
