Three generations of the Hanley family lived on and worked this farm starting in 1857. In 1982, Mary Hanley gave 37 acres and the lovely Hanley home to the Southern Oregon Historical Society.  Each Hanley generation planted special trees, shrubs and flowers  around their home. Today many of these plants have been propagated, and you may purchase them for your own garden.
