    Nourishment for the Mind, Body and Spirit


    The Southern Oregon Historical S
    ociety, in company with the J'ville Market and CSA, and chef Kristen Lyon, will host a series of four unique programs this summer at historic Hanley Farm between Central Point and Jacksonville. Called ORIGINS: A Discovery of Place, the events blend historical discovery and exploration of local, organic foods and flavors. "ORIGINS" refers to both where we come from as individuals and communities and where our food comes from. Each event includes a program featuring a noted expert on a chosen topic in Southern Oregon history, a special exhibit curated by the Southern Oregon Historical Society on the same topic, dinner prepared on-site by chef Lyon using foods grown on Hanley farm and selected local wines.
